Artist notes: These tiny little creature have always drawn my attention
because of their intriguing display of color and use of their vibrant
colors as an indicator of danger to predators. Their survival is
endangered more and more as our rain forests are being destroyed.
These fragile creatures remain an urgent reminder that the desecration
of our rain forests upsets the balance of nature and it is imperative that
we all take steps to preserve their habitat.
